There are no other options. What will happen to war criminals of the Russian Federation

Someday, then it is not excluded that someone will be imprisoned, but that will be later. And, obviously, not on the scale that would correspond to the scale of the crimes committed against the Ukrainian people by the Russian occupiers.

It is clear that the Russians will never admit their crimes. They never recognized them, and they never will. Of course, one could apply the logic of prosecuting German Nazis or Japanese militarists, but this requires “a trifle” — the occupation of the aggressor state and trials of captured war criminals. In a large, beautiful hall, with prosecutors and lawyers. And the gallows. Nothing like that will happen in our case.

Putin’s regime will rot. Then it will be “debunking the cult of personality” and “perestroika”, during which all the accomplices of crimes against humanity will rush to negotiate with the “West” and, most importantly, they will negotiate. And about guarantees for yourself, and about guarantees for your empire, and about “material issues”. Ukraine will be offered “not to incite” and “not to interfere with Russian democratization”.

As a matter of fact, no one in the USA has ever shown any particular interest in bringing war criminals from the “big powers” to justice. And for them, the Russians are representatives of such a state – a state with which one should share the world and have stable, long-term relations.

Ukrainians are not such a significant factor and never will be. Therefore, they will always be with the Russians “rush around” and rush into “friendship” — that will never dawn on Ukrainians. It’s just that the Russians occupy the largest spot on the Earth’s globe.

But the situation is not hopeless. And the model of retribution for Russian criminals has recently been demonstrated by the GUR and the SBU.

For example, Valery Trankovskyi, the head of the staff of the 41st brigade of missile ships and boats of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation, was blown up in a car the other day in Sevastopol. The traitor’s legs were torn off – he died on the spot from blood loss. Trankovsky is a war criminal. It was he who gave orders to launch cruise missiles from the waters of the Black Sea at civilian objects in Ukraine. And although there were no official statements on this matter, it is known that the SBU is behind it.

This liquidation is important because its “object” is a war criminal responsible for the murders of Ukrainian citizens. For the terror of Ukrainian cities. Murders of children. And he felt that there could be a punishment for this. Others will understand this.

And this is one of the components “security guarantees” for Ukraine in the future. The more war criminals are eliminated, the fewer there will be who want to follow their path. There are simply no other options. There will be no beautiful and spectacular trials. It will only be this way, or it will not be at all.

Of course, in any case “ceasefire” in the West will immediately begin to pressure Ukraine to stop the destruction of those who tortured it. This is a fact that should be prepared for. But this does not mean that the process itself should stop. After all, it is not necessary to take responsibility for everything officially.

I repeat, there will simply be no other options. Either yes or no.
