Prices for dairy products in Ukraine will continue to rise at least until the beginning of 2025 due to a significant increase in the cost of dairy raw materials.

This was stated by the Chairman of the Union of Dairy Enterprises of Ukraine, Vadym Chagarovskyi, on KYIV24, reports UNN.

As for prices for the Ukrainian consumer, they will rise. I predict this will continue until at least early January 2025

According to him, this is due to the fact that retail chains do not react so quickly to the increase in the prices of dairy raw materials, namely dairy products, which would compensate for the difference in the price increase.

They increase the price by 5-7%, and we see that since August, the prices of dairy products have increased by more than 30%. I predict that prices will rise by another 5-7%

We will remind

Due to difficult weather conditions, the prices of cabbage in Ukraine will increase this year, as the heat prevented the normal growth of the crop. The high prices of vegetables are also due to other factors, in particular, the lack of labor due to the war and the increase in the price of fertilizers and plant protection products on the world market.
