“The central heating main pipeline was also damaged due to enemy shelling. The boiler room is temporarily stopped, repair works are being carried out. The damaged branch of the heating network heated 220 apartment buildings (40 thousand residents), 7 kindergartens, 4 schools,” said Kiper.
As the head of the administration notes, “the boiler house also served one of the maternity hospitals of Odesa. Now there are 28 women in labor and 22 infants. The facility has air conditioners, heaters, a powerful generator and a sufficient supply of fuel. Currently, the maternity ward will be able to heat itself autonomously, using its own resources.”
On November 14, the Russian military again carried out a massive drone attack on Odesa and the district. Earlier it was known about one death and two wounded.
The Russian military regularly attacks Ukrainian regions with various types of weapons – attack UAVs, rockets, anti-aircraft missiles, and anti-aircraft missiles.
The leadership of Russia denies that the Russian army during a full-scale war inflicts targeted strikes on the civilian infrastructure of the cities and villages of Ukraine, killing the civilian population and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply facilities.
The Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes by Russia.
