Thrown overboard. Sinner dealt with Medvedev in two sets at the ATP Finals

The first number of the ATP rating Yannick Sinner (Italy) won the third match at the Finals 2024, which is held on indoor hard courts.

In the 3rd round of the Ilie Nastase Group, the Italian defeated the “neutral” in two sets Daniil Medvedev (ATP 4) in 1 hour and 12 minutes.

It was the 15th meeting of the rivals. Sinner won the 8th point match.

Yannick won three out of three in the group stage of the ATP Finals and advanced to the semifinals from first place. Taylor Fritz qualified second of that quartet with two points. Medvedev (1 win) and Alex de Minaur (0 wins) finished their performances in Turin.

Yannick will play in the 1/2 finals against the tennis player who will take the second position in the John Newcombe Group, and Fritz will meet the winner of that group.
