Ukraine expects to receive a tranche from the International Monetary Fund in the amount of 1.1 billion dollars at the end of December.
This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.
“We successfully completed the 5th revision of the EFF program at the end of October. We completed all the structural beacons for the 6th revision. Based on the results of the current mission, we expect to receive the next tranche of $1.1 billion at the end of December,” Shmyhal noted.
According to him, in this context, the parties discussed the further implementation of the reforms provided for in the memorandum on cooperation with the IMF, and Ukraine’s progress, which the Fund values very highly.
The head of government thanked the Foundation’s team for continuing the full-fledged work of the mission in Kyiv, because, according to him, this helps to better understand the urgent needs of Ukraine.
