Senator Marco Rubio, whom US President-elect Donald Trump is going to nominate for secretary of state, said he would “ensure peace through force.”

Details: According to Rubio, the leadership of the US State Department is a huge responsibility, and for him it is a “great honor” to be trusted by Trump.
“As Secretary of State, I will work every day to implement his foreign policy agenda. Under the leadership of President Trump, we will ensure peace through strength and always put the interests of Americans and America above all else,” he emphasized.
Rubio hopes to garner support among his colleagues in the Senate “so that the president has a national security and foreign policy team in place when he takes office on January 20.”
