Kiper clarified that Odesa regional clinical anticancer received a modern Elekta Harmony linear accelerator as part of the initiative of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine to support oncology centers, with the support of Odesa OVA.
“This will enable the institution to reach a new level in the treatment of cancer patients not only from Odesa, but also from neighboring regions and forcibly displaced persons.
The new equipment is an innovative solution in the field of radiotherapy, which combines precision, individual approach and efficiency, which are especially important in the fight against cancer. The installation process of the linear accelerator has already begun, the device will soon be ready for use.
Elekta Harmony is a necessary step to improve the quality of oncology care for patients. Thanks to high-precision radiotherapy, the center will be able to provide more effective treatment with minimal impact on healthy tissues,” he said.
