The international football federation FIFA intends to make further progress after the implementation of the VAR system. This is reported by L’Equipe.

According to a source, FIFA wants to implement a new match video support system (FVS), thanks to which team coaches will be able to request a review of a referee’s decision on the pitch twice per game.

It is also emphasized that the system was already used this year at the World Youth Championships among women.

If approved by the IFAB, the new system could be used in other tournaments.

It is added that at the first stage, the system can be implemented in leagues where fewer cameras are used.

It was previously reported that the draw for the Club World Cup 2025 will take place on December 5.
