The first 10 Ukrainians under the age of 25 won the youth component of the “Own Business” grant program and will receive one and a half million hryvnias to start their own business.

“In particular, young entrepreneurs plan to engage in the production of clothes and accessories, confectionery, trade in furniture and household goods, open a manicure studio, a fitness center,” – noted the First Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yulia Svyridenko.
According to her, based on the results of the 21st wave of the program, 443 winners were determined, who will receive grants worth UAH 107 million.
Since the beginning of the program, almost 21,000 Ukrainians have become its winners, and the state will invest UAH 5 billion in their businesses.
It is noted that among the twenty-first wave recipients of microgrants, 58% are women, 34% are men, and 8% are legal entities.
The most popular areas were wholesale and retail trade and repair of motor vehicles (157 people), temporary accommodation and catering (65 people), processing industry (61 people) and provision of other types of services (46 people).
