Former Manchester United player Louis Saa has said the 39-year-old forward could follow in the footsteps of Wrexham owner Ryan Reynolds, who has become one of the world’s most famous club managers. Saa sees the same prospect for Ronaldo.
In an interview with BoyleSports, he said: “There is no better promoter in the world than Cristiano and he would do wonders for a football club at any level.
“Social media is a huge machine and nobody can compete with Cristiano, he is the biggest star in the world and whatever he does in retirement, people will be following him.

“In a year, he brought another 20 million followers to Al-Nassr, and if he decides to buy the club, this number could be even higher.
“Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney made a huge impact at Wrexham straight away and were able to spend a lot of money on players and we’ve seen the success they’ve had since then.
“I would be very happy to be the sporting director if Cristiano Ronaldo decides to buy the club!”
