The American planemaker wants all workers at its West Coast plants to return to work on Tuesday after the strike ends on November 5, but added in a statement that it will be several weeks before aircraft production is fully resumed.
Boeing is trying to increase production of the 737 model to 38 planes a month to generate the profits it needs, after a strike affected deliveries in September and October.
It is noted that the production of Boeing 787 in South Carolina was not affected by the strike. From the beginning of the strike until October, the company delivered 24 planes.
