The ministry assures that they will have time to use these funds.
Pentagon spokesman Pat Ryder said this during the briefing, Voice of America correspondent Ostap Yarysh reports to X. So, more than $7 billion remains under the Presidential Drawdown Authority program (4.3 approved by Congress in April and 2.8 that became available after the recounts). About 2.2 billion more are available under the USAI (Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative) program.
Ryder also reported that from April to mid-October, the United States delivered to Ukraine 83% of the promised ammunition, 67% of air defense equipment and 60% of other firepower.
Aid from the USAIt will be recalled that at the beginning of the month, the Pentagon announced that it was handing over a new aid package to the Ukrainian army in the amount of 425 million dollars. It included air defense interceptors, ammunition, equipment and weapons.
Currently, further military support for Ukraine is in doubt, as it is not known what course the newly elected President Donald Trump will choose. His son published a “meme” on the Internet, hinting that Kyiv will be without a trick in a month
