Ukrainian tennis player Vitaly Sachko (ATP 413) successfully reached the second round of the main draw of the ATP Challenger tournament held in Lyon, France. In the first match of the tournament, Sachko beat the fifth seed Mykhailo Kukushkin (ATP 113) from Kazakhstan.

The match, which lasted 1 hour and 13 minutes, ended in favor of Vitaly in two sets. This was the second meeting of the tennis players: in the first match, which took place as part of the Wimbledon qualification, the Kazakh player won. Thus, Vitaly evened the score in personal meetings.
