Ukrainian Ihor Yaroshevsky sensationally won at Triton Poker

Ihor Yaroshevskyi is a bright star of Ukrainian poker, who once again announced himself on the world stage. This time, his victory came in the $60,000 buy-in turbo event of the Triton Super High Roller Poker Series. The win marked his third career win and brought him his second Triton trophy, and increased his total earnings to more than $10.5 million.

After the triumph, Yaroshevsky briefly commented on his victory, but his fans in his native camp loudly chanted “Second time!” at the end of the tournament. The total number of participants was 61 people, which made it possible to form a prize fund in the amount of $3.66 million. Of these, at least $91,500 went to the top 11 players.

Starting with a small stack, Yaroszewski gradually strengthened his position and at the decisive moment defeated Alex Teologis in a heads-up confrontation. Despite the significant advantage of the opponent in chips at the beginning of the final stage, the Ukrainian managed to return to the game and win a confident victory, ending the tournament on a high note.
