There is a window of opportunity between the election and inauguration day for these negotiations,” Stubb said in an interview, according to Bloomberg.
Stubb stressed that there was room for negotiation between the election and the inauguration and highlighted four key conditions for peace: territorial issues, security guarantees, justice and reconstruction.
It is noted that last month the Finnish president met with the President of the People’s Republic of China, Xi Jinping, during his visit to Beijing, and there they also discussed Russia’s attack on Ukraine.
