It is noted that the “Treaty on comprehensive strategic partnership between the DPRK and the Russian Federation” was ratified by the Decree of the Head of State Affairs of the DPRK. The head of the DPRK signed the decree on November 11, 2024.

According to the text of the contract, in the event of an armed attack on one of the parties, the other undertakes to immediately provide military and other assistance.

The parties also agreed not to conclude agreements with third countries directed against each other and not to allow the use of their territory to violate the sovereignty of the other party.

In addition, obligations regarding the strengthening of the “multipolar world order” and the development of cross-border cooperation have been established.
