Zelenskyi appointed the heads of the Volyn and Zakarpattia State Administrations

President Volodymyr Zelenskyi appointed the heads of the Volyn and Zakarpattia regional state administrations. The relevant decrees No. 755/2024 and No. 756/2024 are published on the website of the head of state.

According to the documents, Ivan Rudnytskyi was appointed the head of the Volyn Regional State Administration, and Myroslav Biletskyi was appointed the head of the Zakarpattia Regional State Administration.

By another decree No. 754/2024, Myroslav Biletskyi was relieved of the temporary duties of the head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration.

By Decree No. 753/2024, the president dismissed Yury Pogulyaik from the post of head of the Volyn Regional State Administration.

Zelensky also dismissed Yevhen Yevtushenko from the position of head of the Nikopol district state administration of Dnipropetrovsk region. The relevant order No. 129/2024-rp is published on the website of the head of state.

“Release Yevhen Vyacheslavovych Yevtushenko from the position of head of the Nikopol District State Administration of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast in accordance with Clause 2 of Part One of Article 40 of the Labor Code of Ukraine in connection with the cancellation of access to state secrets,” the document states.

Earlier, on November 5, the Cabinet of Ministers adopted a number of personnel decisions on November 5. In particular, the following were released:

  • Yuriy Dzhigyra from the post of Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine
  • Yevhenii Horovets from the post of First Deputy Minister of Justice of Ukraine
  • Volodymyr Trofymenko from the post of Deputy Head of the State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine

The government also appointed deputy ministers of justice – first deputy Mykola Kucheryavenka and Svitlana Tereshchenko.
