The Supreme Court of the self-proclaimed terrorist “DNR” sentenced 8 Ukrainian soldiers to 17 years in prison. They allegedly shelled Mariupol.

This was reported by the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.

These soldiers were soldiers of the 36th separate brigade of marines and served as mortars. The terrorist court claims that they allegedly caused more than 26 billion rubles of damage with their shelling.

The investigation allegedly established that during March-April 2022, the Ukrainian military in Mariupol, “carrying out the criminal orders of the top management, fired multiple shots from mortars.” Critically important life support facilities were allegedly destroyed as a result of the “shelling”.

The Ukrainian military was accused of allegedly brutalizing civilians, using prohibited means and methods during hostilities, and intentionally damaging someone else’s property. All Ukrainian prisoners were sentenced to terms from 15 to 17 years.

Earlier, a Russian “court” in the temporarily occupied Crimea sentenced a resident of the Leninsky District to 13 years for allegedly providing the Armed Forces of Ukraine with data on the Russian Armed Forces. The man was accused of “treason”.

Also, in temporarily occupied Crimea, a Russian court sentenced two residents of Feodosia to 16 and 10 years in prison for allegedly attempting to kill pro-Kremlin blogger Oleksandr Talipov.
