In Lubny, Poltava Oblast, the operation of elevators in buildings was suspended due to the mobilization of an elevator maintenance specialist to the ranks of the Armed Forces. The city council assured that the elevators have resumed operation, but for now the issue has been temporarily resolved. This is reported by the Lubensk City Council UNN.

“From November 7, 2024, from 5:00 p.m., in order to prevent accidents, the operation of elevators in the buildings served by LKZEU has been temporarily suspended due to the mobilization of the elevator maintenance specialist to the Armed Forces. The operation of the elevators will be immediately resumed after finding a new contractor. During the downtime of the elevators, all residents will be recalculated,” the City Council informed.

Later, the city council reported that the elevators had resumed operation, but for now the issue was temporarily resolved.
