In particular, it was possible to repatriate 320 bodies of defenders who died in the Donetsk direction and 89 fallen soldiers from the Bakhmut direction. It was also possible to return 154 bodies from morgues on the territory of the Russian Federation.
Earlier, the head of the Committee on Freedom of Speech of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Yaroslav Yurchyshyn, stated that the Russians were delaying handing over the body of journalist Victoria Roshchyna to Ukraine.
