Germany provides aid to our country through several “channels”, said the press secretary of the German government.
This statement was made by the press secretary of the German government, Christiana Hoffmann, during a press conference, writes Le Monde. The spokeswoman added that the authorities of her country provide assistance to the Ukrainian state through several “channels”.
According to Hoffmann, assistance is provided both within the framework of the “Big Seven” (Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Japan, Canada, USA, France) and at the national level.
The spokeswoman of the German government made the following promise regarding aid to Ukraine:
“It is important to say that aid to Ukraine – military support, financial support – is guaranteed…”.
Important news from Germany – what has already been reportedGermany is in a political crisis after Chancellor Olaf Scholz fired Finance Minister Christian Lindner, who is the leader of the Free Democratic Party, which is part of the government coalition. This political force left the government, and without the Free Democrats in the coalition, there is no majority in the Bundestag (parliament).
German Vice-Chancellor Robert Habeck said that the governing coalition had broken up. Later, the country’s president, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, said he was ready to dissolve the Bundestag and announce new parliamentary elections.
It is worth noting that during the full-scale war between Ukraine and the Russian Federation, the German authorities provided Ukrainians with many aid packages, in particular, they transferred air defense equipment and Leopard tanks to our country.
