Authorities: in Zaporizhzhia, the number of victims of Russian shelling has increased to 40, including four children

In Zaporizhzhia, the number of wounded as a result of the Russian bombing increased again, the head of the regional military administration, Ivan Fedorov, said.

“40 wounded, including four children. Such are the consequences of an enemy air attack on Zaporozhye,” he wrote.

The head of the OVA says that among the injured children are boys aged 15, 5 and 1, and a four-month-old girl. All of them are currently under the supervision of doctors.

“There are about 30 people in hospitals in a medium condition,” Fedorov said.

Previously, it was known about 33 victims as a result of the airstrike of the Russian Federation.

As Fedorov stated on the air of the telethon, according to the latest data, six anti-tank missiles were fired at the city, one of them hit the oncology dispensary, where one of the doctors was seriously injured.

The head of the OVA noted that these are not final data, people may still be under the rubble.

The Russian military regularly attacks Ukrainian regions with various types of weapons – attack UAVs, rockets, anti-aircraft missiles, and anti-aircraft missiles.

The leadership of Russia denies that the Russian army during a full-scale war inflicts targeted strikes on the civilian infrastructure of the cities and villages of Ukraine, killing the civilian population and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply facilities.

The Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes by the Russian Federation and emphasize that they are purposeful in nature.
