Victory plan and financial support: The President met with the Prime Minister of Great Britain

In Budapest, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, met with the Prime Minister of Great Britain, Keir Starmer.

The main topic of the meeting is the implementation of the Victory Plan, which the Head of State presented to the Prime Minister of Great Britain last month in London.

“Thank you, Prime Minister, we had frequent discussions and very important decisions regarding the strengthening of Ukraine. I thank you and all the people. We are very proud of such bilateral relations between our nations. Thank you for standing with us in this difficult period,” said the President.

Volodymyr Zelenskyi noted that it is extremely important to support Ukraine with long-range weapons and to give permission for their use against military targets on Russian territory.

The head of state also emphasized the importance of supporting the Ukrainian defense industry, in particular for the production of long-range UAVs and drone missiles.

The President thanked the United Kingdom for the recent decision to provide Ukraine with a $3 billion loan. at the expense of profits from frozen assets of the Russian Federation. This money is part of the $50 billion that the G7 countries have pledged to transfer to Ukraine to strengthen its defense capabilities.
