According to detailed information, yesterday the Russian troops carried out 74 airstrikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas, in particular, dropped 128 anti-aircraft missiles. In addition, they used to destroy almost 1,500 kamikaze drones and carried out more than 4,300 attacks, including 100 from rocket salvo systems.
Most of the last day, Russian troops attacked in the direction of Kurakhiv. Here, the Defense Forces repulsed 50 attacks, the main efforts of the enemy were concentrated in the areas of Illinka, Novoselidivka, Kreminnaya Balka, Novodmytrivka, Sontsivka, Maksimilianivka, Antonivka, Dalnyi and Katerynivka.

Also, in the Pokrovsky direction, Ukrainian defenders stopped 24 offensive actions of the aggressor in the areas of Myrolyubivka, Promeny, Lysivka, Krutoy Yar, Hryhorivka, Sukhoi Yar, and Selidovoy, and in the Lymansky direction, the enemy attacked 17 times, in some cases with the support of assault and bombing aircraft.
The enemy did not carry out assault (offensive) actions in the Orihiv direction, but actively used aviation, in particular dropped more than a dozen guided bombs.
According to British intelligence data as of November 5, in the south of the Donetsk region, Russian troops have advanced in several areas on a 20-kilometer front.
On the night of November 8, the Deepstate project announced the occupation by Russian forces of Novooleksiivka, as well as their advance near Novodmytrivka, Novooleksandrivka, and Maksimivka.
At the beginning of October, Russian troops occupied Vugledar, at the end – Selidove, between them – more than a dozen villages and towns. According to the calculations of the German publication Welt, Russian troops captured more than 470 square meters. km in just one month, and this is the largest increase in the captured territory since March 2022.
