Today, electricity consumption in Ukraine is increasing due to cloudy weather and lower efficiency of domestic HPPs in most regions. In the evening hours, the need for frugal consumption remains, the NEC “Ukrenergo” reported on Friday, writes UNN.

“Today, November 8, as of 9:30 a.m., the level of consumption was 5% higher than the previous day – Thursday, November 7,” the company reported.

This was explained by a decrease in air temperature compared to the previous day. And also – the establishment of cloudy weather in most regions of Ukraine, except for the southern regions, which leads to a decrease in the efficiency of household SPPs

“In the hours of maximum consumption in the morning and in the evening, there is a power deficit in the power system. Please do not turn on several powerful electrical appliances at the same time from 7:00 to 11:00 in the morning and from 16:00 to 21:00 in the evening,” – emphasized Ukrenergo.

Imports

It will take place during the day from Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Hungary, Moldova. With a total volume of 2,395 MW•h, with a maximum capacity of up to 307 MW in individual hours.
