During the press conference, he noted that Ukraine is ready for cooperation, but a bilateral document should meet the interests of both parties.
Zelenskyy emphasized that currently Ukraine’s support for NATO is not included in the document, and because of this, the agreement has not yet been signed. He noted that Ukraine expects support from Hungary, as it itself supports its membership in the EU and NATO. The president emphasized the importance of equality and mutual respect in such documents, noting that security issues cannot depend on fears about Russia’s possible reaction.
Thus, the signing of the agreement depends on whether the two sides can agree on issues that are important to both countries.
