The former US ambassador to Ukraine in 2006-2009, William Taylor, said that the participation of the North Korean military in the war against Ukraine could be an argument for inviting Ukraine to NATO.
He said this during the US Elections and the future of Ukraine telecast, according to the correspondent of Radio NV.
“Actually, the fact that representatives of North Korea are now appearing on the front line in Russia is a provocation that the Biden administration can use in the next two months to justify a change in policy to allow strikes deep into Russia. There must be a logic to changing NATO’s policy to clarify that American policy supports and invites Ukraine to join NATO,” he said.
According to him, Russia’s war against Ukraine will end as soon as the USA supports Ukraine’s invitation to NATO.
Taylor believes that changes in positions regarding Ukraine’s accession to NATO can be justified right now precisely because of the participation of the North Korean military in the Russian Federation’s war against Ukraine.
Ukraine’s invitation to NATO is the most important thing
