The Russian army occupied Stepanivka in the Donetsk region, DeepState analysts reported on Tuesday, November 5.

As analysts note, the Russian occupiers have also advanced near Kurakhovoy, Kolisnikivka, Bogoyavlenka and in Kreminnaya Balka.

The situation at the front in Donetsk region — the latest news

On October 30, President Volodymyr Zelenskyi said that in some areas of the front, the ratio of Ukrainian and Russian troops is 1 to 8, so the Armed Forces of Ukraine are forced to retreat from their positions.

On October 31, DeepState reported the capture of Selidovoy by the Russians. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated that the Defense Forces repelled the assaults in the direction of the city.

In the direction of Toretsk, the Defense Forces of Ukraine have stabilized the situation and are not allowing the Russian occupiers to advance further into Toretsk, said Anastasia Bobovnikova, press secretary of Luhansk Technical University.
