Ukraine will have enough natural gas to ensure the autumn-winter period of 2024-2025, taking into account its consumption by electric power facilities.
This information was announced by the Minister of Energy Herman Galushchenko during the hour of questions to the government in the parliament.
“We will have enough gas to get through the heating season. Moreover, we will have enough gas taking into account the growth of its consumption at generation facilities,” the minister noted.
He also emphasized that Ukraine has all the necessary arrangements for importing gas in the required volumes, if such a need arises in the system.
Earlier we wrote that the Slovak state-owned gas buyer company SPP commented on media reports regarding the possible transit of gas through Ukraine. European companies have not reached an agreement on replacing Russian gas imports with supplies from Azerbaijan.
