The funds from the sale of the Hotel “Ukraine” on Independence Square in Kyiv were fully transferred to the state budget. This was reported by the press service of the State Property Fund.
The winner of the auction, which took place on September 18 in the Prozorro.Prodazhi system, paid the value of the object and VAT in the amount of more than UAH 3 billion.
“The successful holding of the auction and the full payment of the price of the Ukraina hotel confirm the readiness of the Ukrainian market for large-scale privatization,” said Acting Director. head of the FSMU Ivanna Smachilo.
According to her, the received funds will be directed, in particular, to the support of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
The auction took place in the Prozorro.Sales system, the price of the lot increased 2.4 times – from the starting price of UAH 1.05 billion to UAH 2.51 billion. The winner of the bidding was Maxim Krippa’s “Ola Fine” LLC.
In 2023, Ola Fine bought the “Parus” retail and office complex at 2 Mechnikov Street in the center of Kyiv.
Hotel “Ukraine” is the first object of large-scale privatization during the full-scale war. According to the terms of the sale, the new owner is obliged to maintain the profile of the hotel’s activity and provide social guarantees to the employees.

Among the sold assets, the largest investment was attracted from the sale of the Hermitage Hotel in Kyiv. 39 entrepreneurs competed for it, as a result of which the final cost increased 15 times – from 21.2 million to 311 million UAH.
It was also reported that at the meeting the Government made a decision on the transfer to the State Property Fund (SPF) of more than 800 enterprises with assets worth UAH 45 billion.
