In Kharkiv, on Thursday, October 31, emergency and rescue operations are underway at the site of a Russian attack by guided aerial bombs on a nine-story building, as a result of which a 12-year-old boy died and 35 people were injured.
Residents of the destroyed building are in despair after the Russian attack.
“There is nowhere to live. It’s just shit,” one of the eyewitnesses told a RFE/RL journalist.
Another woman said that she had returned to Kharkiv from Germany and did not want to leave her hometown.

“I was in Germany for three months. Consciously returned. I don’t want to go anywhere. I love Kharkiv, I love my home, I love Ukraine. I want these devils to leave us,” says the resident of the house with tears.
Currently, search operations in Kharkiv continue, despite the threat of a building collapse. Emergency workers tore down part of the outer wall of the high-rise building to make a passage to the first floor, where people can be, writes Suspilne.
In the evening of October 30, the occupiers struck a residential building in Kharkiv with a FAB-500 bomb from the UMPK. They hit the fourth floor, a fire broke out, and the entrance collapsed. According to the latest data from OVA, 35 people were injured, a 12-year-old boy died. A 15-year-old child can be under the rubble.
