The Ministry of Defense has shortened the list of things that military personnel must return after service

Previously, the ministry simplified the write-off of lost and used items, including first-aid kits. Due to bureaucracy, military units often could not order new first-aid kits.

Earlier, the law on simplifying the procedure for writing off military property during the period of martial law entered into force.

The Verkhovna Rada adopted a law on simplifying the procedure for writing off military property in the Armed Forces of Ukraine in October 2023. The corresponding bill No. 10039 was supported by 302 people’s deputies.

The Ministry of Defense has allowed a simplified procedure for writing off military property lost in battle, it will take two weeks instead of six months.
