On the morning of October 20, the Russian military attacked energy infrastructure facilities in the Sumy region. More than 100 settlements and 37,000 consumers remained without electricity in the Romen district.

This was reported in Sumyoblenergo.

As a result of the military aggression of the Russian Federation, more than 14,000 consumers, covering 130 settlements, remained without electricity in the border areas of the Sumy region.

Currently, energy workers are working on eliminating the consequences of enemy attacks.

As reported in the regional military administration, on October 19, Russian troops shelled the Sumy region 41 times, and 71 explosions were recorded in the region.

Khotinsk, Yunakivsk, Myropilsk, Bilopolsk, Novoslobidsk, Shalyginsk, Esmansk, Svesk, Druzhbivsk and Seredino-Budsk communities came under fire.

In addition, on the night of October 20, 11 Shahed were shot down over the region.
