In Ukraine, the deadline for urgent passport registration was reduced from ten to seven days.
This was announced by Taras Melnychuk, the representative of the government in the Verkhovna Rada.
“Amendments have been made to the appendix “List of administrative services in the field of migration and their cost” in accordance with the Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 770 of 02.11.2016 “Some issues of providing administrative services in the field of migration”, which allows updating the list of paid services provided by bodies and divisions of the State of the Migration Service of Ukraine, as well as to establish the amount of the fee for their provision in accordance with Law N 3709-IX,” Melnychuk said.
In particular, an administrative service for the simultaneous issuance (including instead of a lost or stolen one) and exchange of a passport of a citizen of Ukraine, as well as a passport for traveling abroad, was added to the list, with the cost determined depending on the urgency.
Therefore, the term for providing administrative services for the urgent issuance of a passport (including cases of replacing a lost or stolen one) has been reduced from ten to seven working days, with the exception of issuing a passport for the first time.
We previously wrote that by the end of 2024, the government plans to send 900,000 summonses to conscripts. If the summons is returned undelivered, the petitioner must be fined from UAH 17,000 to UAH 25,500, in case of non-payment of which, enforcement proceedings will be opened with the aim of collection from the accounts.
