During the recent raids, employees of the territorial procurement centers reminded civilians about the need to register for the military. There was nothing illegal in their actions.

People’s deputy from the “Servant of the People” party and member of the Parliament’s Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence Oleksandr Fedienko said this.

In his opinion, the military leadership and the military should inform civilian conscripts more about “what is happening in the war.” Fedienko talks about the problem of the lack of those who can replace the military at the front.

“The guys are in the war there for the third year, they also want to go to Okeanu Elsa’s concert, go to restaurants,” the deputy believes and adds that the commanders are asking for reinforcements, but they are not coming.

It is with this that he connects the raids of the TCC, however, he emphasizes that they took place within the limits of the current legislation, because registering for military service is “no longer a right” of conscripts, but an “obligation”.

At the same time, Fedienko did not want to say whether such actions of the TCC mean a failed mobilization, because, they say, this is information with limited access.

We will remind that on the evening of October 11, representatives of the TCC together with the police conducted raids in clubs and restaurants in Kyiv, Dnipro, Kharkiv, Khmelnytskyi and other cities. They also conducted a raid near the Kyiv Sports Palace, where the Okean Elsa band was performing, some men were detained and put in police cars.

The Council does not consider TCC checks, similar to the one conducted after the concert of the band “Ocean Elsa” in Kyiv and currently being conducted in shopping malls of various cities, to be a threat. On the contrary, they should be permanent.
