“According to sociologists, 37% of respondents do not trust Zelensky”, — write: www.radiosvoboda.org
Sociologists remind that after the invasion of the Russian Federation, the level of trust increased to 90%, but by the end of December 2023, the level of trust decreased to 77%, by February 2024 – to 64%, by May 2024 – to 59%.
According to the survey, in the regional dimension, the East stands out somewhat against the background of others, where 51% trust and 45% do not trust Zelensky. In other regions, they trust somewhat more – 58-62% against 35-38% who do not trust.
KMIS also notes that those who believe that the West wants a just peace for Ukraine trust the president more – 69% of them trust him against 29% who do not trust him.
Sociologists believe that the attitude towards the president is not only an assessment of his activities as an official, but also in a broader interpretation is a marker of the domestic political situation, especially against the background of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation.
The results of a sociological survey conducted by the sociological service of the Razumkov Center from June 6 to 12, 2024, showed that among politicians, officials, and public figures, respondents trusted Zelensky the most – 54%. At the same time, the “personal” level of trust in Zelensky exceeds the “institutional” level of trust in the President of Ukraine – 50% of respondents trust the president as a social institution.
