Details: The Main Directorate of the Military Service says that military personnel can cross the border on general grounds if they have the permission of the commander of the military unit. At the same time, their vacation time is not limited, and in order to leave, it is only necessary to provide an appropriate document on permission to leave for another country.
Literally: “In the period from 24.02.2022 to 30.09.2024, 46 cases were registered when servicemen did not return to Ukraine after vacationing abroad. Such servicemen were registered as those who voluntarily left military units.”
