Now we are already preparing for new negotiations that will take place this week. We will continue to present to our European partners our strategy to compel Russia to make peace. The teams of our state and the leadership teams of our partners, who have already been presented with the Victory Plan, continue to work on the details – joint steps are needed, and they must be strong steps. There are certain additional issues that we need to agree with our partners. But the partners have all the necessary potential, and it is absolutely realistic – to strengthen the positions of our state, to strengthen the positions of Ukraine exactly as is necessary for an honest peace. And right now we need to act to prevent Russia and its accomplices from adapting to our capabilities. We see an increasing alliance between Russia and regimes like North Korea. It is not just about the transfer of weapons. It is actually about the transfer of people from North Korea to the occupying military forces. It is obvious that in such conditions our relations with partners need development. The front needs more support. When we talk about greater range for Ukraine and more decisive supply for our forces, it is not just a list of military assets. This is about increasing pressure on the aggressor, which will be stronger for Russia than they can withstand. And it’s about preventing a bigger war. True peace can only be achieved through strength, and the entire next week will be dedicated to working with our partners – for such strength, for true peace. Teams will work. There will be work with the leaders as well. We very much hope that the decision-making will not be delayed. Our Ukrainian soldiers, all our people proved that Ukraine is capable of achieving even what seemed impossible to some. We have repeatedly changed the course of this war, changed it for the better. Ukrainians know how to fight and they know how to carve out a future for their country, their people, for all of us. We have to do it now. I am proud of our people. And our people deserve sufficient help and a just peace.
I would now like to thank our combat brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who showed themselves in the best way this week. Pokrovsky direction – 38th separate brigade of marines. Kurakhiv direction – 79th brigade of the DSHV. Time direction – 425th separate assault battalion. The Dnieper direction is the 35th separate brigade of marines. As well as the Orihiv direction – the 65th and 118th separate mechanized brigades, the 128th separate mountain assault brigade. Thanks to all of you! And I will also mention our border guards who, together with the other Defense and Security Forces of Ukraine, protect our country with dignity. The Luhansk border detachment is the “Revenge” brigade: soldier Vitaly Baginskyi, junior sergeant Oleksandr Baluyev, staff sergeant Oleksandr Olifirenko, captain Vitaliy Kobal. “Hart” brigade – boys fighting in Kharkiv region: soldiers Andriy Demidov and Oleksandr Borysenko. Thank you and all your brothers! Kharkiv border detachment – chief sergeant Oleksandr Vasylets and senior sergeant Vladyslav Kuznichenko. Sumy border detachment – senior sergeant Mykola Trokhymenko and major Ihor Kraplych. Thank you! And I would also like to mention all the soldiers of the “WATCH” unit of the State Border Service of Ukraine.
