The correspondent of the Russian newspaper “Izvestia” Denys Kulaga was injured as a result of a drone attack near the city of Chasiv Yar in the Donetsk region. He was hospitalized with leg fractures and shrapnel injuries, the publication said.

Kulaga is illegally staying on the territory of Ukraine. He was returning from filming on an ATV with the Russian military, the newspaper reported. In the published video, Kulaga is dressed in a camouflage uniform similar to the uniform of the Russian military and does not differ from them.

The Russian authorities have announced the annexation of the Donetsk region and call it their territory, which is contrary to international law.

The Russian army has been on the offensive in the Chasovoy Yar area for more than six months. The city with a pre-war population of just over 12,000 people, which is the birthplace of the late Russian singer and propagandist Yosyp Kobzon, is almost completely destroyed.
