This week, EU ambassadors should agree on a new thematic sanctions regime focused on Russian hybrid threats, reported Rikard Yuzvyak, editor of Radio Free Europe / Radio Liberty on European issues.

“On Wednesday, EU ambassadors will agree on a new thematic regime of sanctions aimed at Russian hybrid threats. It will be formalized next week. There are no names yet, but they will be added in the future. Hungary initially wanted to introduce a general regime of sanctions, but in the end they agreed that it would be focused on Russian threats,” he wrote on the Kh.
