“The victory plan has been presented to America, and we have explained every point. Now, at the level of our teams, we will work to fill every step, every decision we make. Strong positions for Ukraine mean faster peace. Everything that is key for Ukraine is on the partners’ table, everything is being considered. Long-range, defense package, sanctions against Russia, steps regarding Russian assets. We managed to work on all topics,” he said in his video address.
Zelenskyy added that Kyiv is preparing for a meeting in Germany as part of Ramstein, where “together with our partners, we will follow the content of the points of the Victory Plan.”
Volodymyr Zelenskyi arrived in the USA on Sunday, September 22. He took part in events within the framework of the UN General Assembly. Also, as announced, he discussed the victory plan with US President Joe Biden and candidates Kamala Harris and Donald Trump.
During the visit of the Ukrainian president to the USA on September 26, Joe Biden announced the allocation of a total of 7.9 billion dollars of American aid to Ukraine within the framework of the Ukraine Security Promotion Initiative. Also, without details, the US president announced that the Pentagon is announcing the allocation of 2.4 billion US dollars for security assistance.

The meeting between Trump and Zelensky was previously expected on September 26. However, on September 24, it became known that the meeting between President Zelenskyi and the presidential candidate from the Republican Party, Donald Trump, will not take place. And on September 25, Trump accused Volodymyr Zelenskyi of the fact that the Ukrainian leader is taking billions of dollars from the United States, while refusing to “make a deal” to end Russia’s full-scale invasion.
However, on September 27, Zelensky still met with Trump, who, among other things, said that he would work with both Ukraine and Russia to end the war.
