Air defense forces destroyed all the drones with which the Russian troops attacked Kyiv at night, without casualties – KMVA

On the night of September 30, Russian troops used attack UAVs to attack Kyiv, the air defense forces destroyed all these drones, Serhii Popko, the head of the city’s military administration, said.

“As during the last attacks, the enemy again used attack UAVs, previously such as Shahed. Barrage ammunition entered Kyiv at night, in waves and from different directions. The air alert in the capital lasted more than 5 hours. All Russian attack drones by air defense forces and means,” he wrote in a telegram.

According to him, there were no damages or casualties in the city.

An air alert was announced in Kyiv around 1:00 a.m., local authorities reported on the work of air defense forces in Obolon.

The previous Russian attack on Kyiv was on the night of September 28 – it was the tenth air attack on the capital of Ukraine since the beginning of September.

The Russian military regularly attacks Ukrainian regions with various types of weapons – attack UAVs, rockets, anti-aircraft missiles, and anti-aircraft missiles.

The leadership of Russia denies that the Russian army during a full-scale war inflicts targeted strikes on the civilian infrastructure of the cities and villages of Ukraine, killing the civilian population and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply facilities.

The Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes by the Russian Federation and emphasize that they are purposeful in nature.
