Under the leadership of Canadian instructors of the UNIFAIR training mission, as part of the multinational operation “Interflex”, Ukrainian servicemen are undergoing basic military training on the territory of Great Britain. Among the components of BZVP are intensive training in an urbanized area. The General Headquarters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine released photos from the training of Ukrainian servicemen “in the urban area”.
During the training, military personnel practice tactical elements such as house and room entry checks, casualty evacuation, preparation, seizure, clearing and maintenance of buildings, etc.
Also, the Ukrainian military learns complex actions during the capture of premises within the department.
Important importance is given to the skills of moving among city ruins, overcoming rubble, moving between buildings, etc.
Instructors emphasize that fighting can be conducted in one building and consist of several isolated battles and skirmishes on different floors, in different corridors and rooms.
These training modules prepare our soldiers for combat conditions during the defense of Ukraine against the Russian aggressor.
Canadian instructors play a key role in this process, providing a high level of training and sharing their expertise.
Earlier, ArmyInform reported that Ukrainian soldiers are trained by Norwegian instructors of the Norwegian training operation “ELLISEV”, which is a component of the multinational training operation Interflex on the territory of Great Britain.
