President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky met with French President Emmanuel Macron.
The Ukrainian head of state thanked France for its strong support for Ukraine’s membership in NATO and the EU, as well as for military assistance.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy spoke in detail about the situation on the battlefield and the needs of Ukrainian soldiers.
Among the main topics of the meeting are the further strengthening of the Ukrainian air defense system with the help of France and military training. In the near future, the country will prepare and fully equip the Ukrainian brigade.
Volodymyr Zelenskyi and Emmanuel Macron discussed the results of recent thematic conferences based on individual points of the Peace Formula and preparations for a meeting on nuclear security – France is the leader of the relevant working group. Attention was also paid to preparations for the second Peace Summit.
The head of the Ukrainian state noted that he expects comprehensive cooperation with the new French government.
