The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine is developing a policy for the introduction of artificial intelligence into the work of the state.
This was announced by the Deputy Prime Minister for Innovation, Development of Education, Science and Technology – Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov at the “Conductors of Change” forum. transmits “Interfax-Ukraine”.
“Each direction (on which the Ministry of Digital Affairs is working, – ed.) has its own projects that need to be formed. And a separate direction, which in general will now become fundamental, end-to-end for every industry, which we care about, where we form policy, it will be, of course , artificial intelligence,” Fedorov said.
He emphasized that Ukraine should not miss this trend in the world, but should become the center. According to Fedorov, in this way it will be possible to “overtake” other digital governments.
“We rose from 102nd place in the world to 5th place in five years. But we need artificial intelligence and automation to take the first place – the direction that is now a priority for us,” Fedorov noted.
He added that representatives of the Ministry of Digital Affairs will hold meetings with all leading IT companies of Ukraine, discuss what can be done in this direction, and how to attract new participants.
“I think that a revolution awaits us that we cannot miss, and we need to lead it in the world,” the minister concluded.
