It is noted that the State Emergency Service in the Kherson region allowed the medical institution to use the equipped premises as a shelter.
“This shelter will become an “underground hospital” and will allow providing specialized medical care to patients with infectious diseases in a safe environment. The shelter is designed for 22 stationary beds. If necessary, another 20 beds can be deployed. Also, the shelter has two resuscitation wards, three wards for patients with infectious diseases, and inclusive bathrooms,” the report says.
In addition, the warehouse has a room for storing medicine supplies and a room for feeding patients and hospital employees. The shelter has a modern ventilation system and fire alarm system.
“In order for doctors to be able to provide medical assistance even in the event of emergency power outages, the shelter is equipped with backup power sources. It is about a 60 kW generator. In the near future, the Tesla Powerwall 2.0 energy saving system will be installed,” said the Ministry of Health.
Earlier it was reported that in the village An underground school is being built in Korotych, Kharkiv region, which will be able to accommodate about 500 people at the same time.
