On September 25, information appeared that the 34-year-old Polish goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny will sign a contract with Catalan Barcelona.
Journalists managed to film a Pole at the Barcelona airport with a cigarette in his hands. A medical examination is scheduled in the coming days.
Barcelona will sign Wojciech as a replacement for ter Stegen, who is out for the rest of the season due to injury. Szczesna’s contract with the Catalans will run until the summer of 2025.
Interestingly, Wojciech has announced his retirement even though his contract with Juventus runs until the end of the 2024/25 campaign.
