Marta Kostyuk will play at the tournament in Tokyo

The players’ application for the WTA 500 tournament, which will take place from October 21 to 27 on hard courts in Tokyo, Japan, has been published.

Marta Kostiuk will play in the main draw among Ukrainian women. Jessica Pegula, Zheng Qinwen, Emma Navarro, Danielle Collins and Barbora Krejcikova made it to the top 5 seeds – all representatives of the top ten of the world ranking.

Last year, Marta lost in Tokyo in the first round, losing in three sets to Daria Kasatkinia.

The current champion of the tournament is Veronika Kudermetova.
