This national project was approved at the end of 2023, and began to be implemented from the beginning of 2024.
Prehistory:
- In 2024, there were several cases in Russia of Russian airports suspending flights due to the alleged threat of drones. In particular, on September 10, Russia announced that it shot down 144 drones, including in the Moscow region, where the capital’s airports temporarily stopped flights due to the attack.
