The former coach of “Marseille” Eli Bopp called the best summer recruit of the Provençals, unexpectedly chose not one of the players, but the new head coach – Roberto De Dzerba, who is known in Ukraine for his work with “Shakhtar”.
“Marseille’s best summer rookie? This is Roberto De Dzerba. When you see that Adrien Rabiot, who knew him in Italy, joined the team, it speaks for itself. Wherever he went, he left his mark, his way of acting. He impresses everyone he meets, even coaches, and players strive to progress and develop through communication with him. Even Rabiot says this. This is essential. This means that he is very strong and one of the best coaches,” said 69-year-old Bop.
Eli Bopp previously worked with Marseille in 2012-2013, after which he left the club, and soon decided to end his coaching career.
